Come for the ride and stay for the weekend, with time to reconnect with old friends, meet fellow cyclists and enjoy the Midlands.
You’re very welcome to join us just for the 55 km ride on Saturday 15 May 2027. You don’t need to stay for the full weekend to take part.
If you can make a weekend of it, though, we’d love you to! The evening braais, classic bicycle display, sundowners and Sunday social ride offer more time to catch up with old friends and make new ones.
Join us from Friday 14 to Sunday 16 May for the full Gravel Giro experience.
Collect your number and goodie bag, then join us at the Boma for a relaxed bring and braai.
Bring your own meat, drinks and a salad to share.
Start and finish at Bellwood Cottages, then enjoy an afternoon and evening of classic bicycles, good company and ride stories.

Our 55 km ride starts and finishes at Bellwood Cottages, with food and refreshment stops along the route.
Enjoy the Classic Bicycle Display and Concours d’Elegance, with categories for the best South African-manufactured and best imported classic bicycles.
Bring a stand for your display bike. A little dust from the morning’s ride is welcome!
Join fellow riders for sundowners by the dam. Bring your own drinks and snacks.
Gather at the Boma for another sociable bring and braai, ride stories and prize-giving.
Bring your own meat, drinks and preferred salads or sides. We’ll supply the braais and charcoal.
Round off the weekend with a short, easy-paced ride on tar and gravel, starting and finishing at Bellwood. Everyone is welcome.
Afterwards, say your goodbyes and head home at your leisure.
Stay at Bellwood Cottages and enjoy more time with fellow riders, from the Friday welcome braai to Sunday’s relaxed social ride.
